On way from Aille River Hostel in Doolin to Boulevard Guesthouse in Westport, we stopped in Galway and had a nice walk around part of the town.

An amazing natural resource near Doolin is The Burren. We did the Lough Avalla Farm Loop, which included everything from deeply crevassed rock
through dense, lush foliage.

We drove the short distance from Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher. The Visitors Center at the Cliffs is really well done, built into the side of a hill. It was very crowded, even on this April day, and tour buses kept arriving. The wikipedia page for the cliffs has some interesting info.
We said goodbye to lovely Dingle town and headed across the Dingle peninsula via the Conor pass.
We’ve spent the last few days in Dingle, an Irish-speaking tourist town on the beautiful Dingle peninsula. We’re staying in An Capall Dubh (“black horse”) and have enjoyed some wonderful breakfasts.
After saying goodbye to the wonderful Mary Fitzgerald at Whispering Pines B&B in Kenmare, we started towards our next destination, Dingle, via the scenic “Ring of Kerry” peninsula.

We drove to Muckross House, on the outskirts of Killarney National Park. It being “Holy Thursday”, the place was packed with tourists.
