Lough Avalla Farm Loop in the Burren National Park (4/19/2017)

An amazing natural resource near Doolin is The Burren. We did the Lough Avalla Farm Loop, which included everything from deeply crevassed rock

through dense, lush foliage.

Along the path is a “Holy Well”, with lots of ribbons and trinkets.

The stone walls, which are of course everywhere in Ireland, seemed particularly cool up close here.

There are also lots of crazy rock formations and big rocks balanced on other rocks.

The walk was through a working farm, so there were lots of cows, sheep, and lambs.
