We drove the short distance from Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher. The Visitors Center at the Cliffs is really well done, built into the side of a hill. It was very crowded, even on this April day, and tour buses kept arriving. The wikipedia page for the cliffs has some interesting info.

Ann and I walked to and from Hags Head, which has some crumbling ruins.

After 10 minutes of walking, the crowds diminished, and it was a nice walk. On the way back, the sun even came out.
